UOCRA workers’ Union (Construction Union) at San Lorenzo Port started blockades at San Lorenzo terminals’ gates as from today July 07th 0600hs, preventing the discharge of cargo as well as the access of their personnel to the terminals. 

Some of the terminals Upriver being affected by this measure are Renova, LDC, Cofco Timbues, Cofco PGSM, AGD, ACA Timbues,Terminal 6, Quebracho, Pampa, Dempa and San Benito.                                   So far, this measure is not affecting Vicentin, ADM Agro and ACA San Lorenzo terminals.

UOCRA workers are demanding wages increase and a bonus. This measure will take place for an undetermined period.                                                                                                                              Provincial authorities including the Ministry of Labor have not yet intervened in this conflict.
