Argentine borders are open for national citizens and residents of neighbor countries for entering with max 72 hrs PCR test before departure, full vaccination scheme (min two doses) and antigen test to be conducted on arrival at Argentine entry point.

Government announced that borders will be opened for foreigners from all countries as from November 01st 2021 for persons arriving with max 72 hrs PCR test before departure and full vaccination scheme (having received last dose at least 14 days before arrival).

Pilot Services – embarking/disembarking at Recalada

Uruguayan authorities are requesting to all Argentine citizens entering to their country (by land or river) a negative COVID test.

Argentine River Plate pilots are traveling as ‘passengers’ on outbound ships, in order to be positioned at Recalada PS, this affecting their usual travelling/logistics and availability.

As consequence additional pre-booking and coordination time might be needed before boarding at Recalada, this specially focused on River Plate service Recalada/Zona Comun leg.
